          Penegra is often used as an effective treatment for erectile dysfunction, or male impotence. It contains sildenafil citrate as its active ingredient, so it belongs to PDE-5 inhibitors. Many users agree that it’s the best sildenafil citrate form available in the market. Its intake helps men with specific erectile problems achieve and maintain erections, but this effect is present only when they’re sexually stimulated.

          How to Use Penegra Effectively

          It’s necessary to take this ED medication as needed, about 30 minutes before your planned sexual activity. Don’t take more than 100 mg a day, otherwise, you will end up with overdosing. The effect of Penegra will last for about 4-6 hours. This medicine is absorbed fast, but it’s not advisable to use it with any fatty or heavy meals, because they slow down its proper absorption. There are some groups of patients who are advised by doctors to start this ED treatment with lower doses (50 mg). For example, this dosage is recommended if you:

          bullet_ball_blue Are older than 65;
          bullet_ball_blue Have specific kidney and liver problems;
          bullet_ball_blue Take HIV protease inhibitors;
          bullet_ball_blue Have hypertension or different prostate problems that require the use of alpha blockers.

          Side Effects Caused by Penegra

          The adverse effects caused by the intake of this ED medicine are mild and moderate, and most of them don’t last longer than several hours. For instance, these symptoms include:

          bullet_ball_blue Allergic reactions.

          These adverse effects reflect the ability of this powerful PDE-5 inhibitor to cause blood vessels to widen. If any of them persist or worsen, you should inform your physician immediately. Less common adverse symptoms caused by Penegra include:

          bullet_ball_blue Changes in vision;
          bullet_ball_blue Blurred vision;
          bullet_ball_blue Difficulty telling the difference between green and blue;
          bullet_ball_blue Ringing in the ears;
          bullet_ball_blue Irregular heartbeat;
          bullet_ball_blue Becoming more sensitive to the light.

          In very rare cases, Penegra may lead to painful and prolonged erections, and this condition is called priapism. If you experience any of the above-mentioned serious side effects, you need to seek medical attention instantly.

          Warnings and Precautions when Taking Penegra

          There are some medications and conditions that may interfere with the natural process of getting erections. If men have specific cardiovascular complications, they should be careful with the use of Penegra. If you’re taking any nitrates, you aren’t allowed to start this ED treatment because of serious health risks. Besides, it’s contraindicated in male patients with hypersensitivity or allergy to its active ingredient. Penegra may also result in the mild lowering of blood pressure. Be careful with this drug if you have any kidney or liver problems, heart diseases, inherited eye disorders, vascular issues, bleeding complications and so on.
