          Alavert is an antihistamine medication, which helps to reduce the effects of histamine – natural chemical in a human’s body. It’s a brand name for one of the most popular allergy medications – loratadine. Alavert is an over-the-counter medication, which means it can be bought without any prescription. Certainly, tell your healthcare provider about being pregnant or plans to become a mom in the nearest future. In fact, there are no particular studies of Alavert effects on pregnant women. It’s recommended to use the medication during pregnancy only when the benefits outweigh all possible risks. The drug can pass into the breast milk and be quite harmful to a nursing baby.

          Important Safety Information

          In a case of overdose, seek immediate emergency help. If you have missed taking the medication, take it as soon as you remember. If it’s time for the next dose, skip the missed one and return to your regular schedule with the next dosage. It’s recommended to avoid driving and performing any other activities that require attention while taking this medication.
